Do you think that prohibition was a good or bad thing? and why?

It was definitely good for the bootleggers who profited immensely from severe lack of supply coupled with huge demand for illegal booze resulting from prohibition. It was bad for everyone else as there would exist a sharp spike in organized crime ociated with the underground alcohol trade. The current, long-running War On Drugs™ mirrors the Prohibition Era in some respects, only on a much larger scale.
