Puppy food help please?

How can you tell if the food you have for your puppy is right? I have a 10 week old Boarder collie, GSD, Lab mix, and I dont know if the purina puppy chow is satisfying him. He is always trying to get the cats food and our food, and he does eat his food pretty well but he always acts like he is starving. What brand would yous recommend? Please and thank you.
