WHY ARE HOMESCHOOLERS CONSIDERED ANTISOCIAL?

I am a home-schooled teenager, and am very confused as to why we are BLATANTLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST when concerning social behavior. I do admit there is the extremely rare unintelligent, boorish or mentally/physically undeveloped home-schooler, but why make this broad generalization? Any insulting answers will be dealt with in kind.
