Belly on piercing... ???

It all depends on how your body reacts to the piercing. I have heard stories of awful things happening but mine never really bothered me. I don't even think that mine swelled very much. Best of luck and be sure to keep if very clean. I used sea salt solution that I got from my piercer and that worked really well. It usually comes in either a spray form or you can buy the sea salt and mix it yourself. The sea salt helps to keep it moisturized while sanitizing it. Keep in mind also that regardless of the swelling or pain from the initial piercing it will take about an entire year for a navel piercing to completely heal.
