What Has Happened To The Cruiserweight Division?

They aren't crap but its hard to get the younger fans to pay attention to second tier wrestlers let alone the third tier guys so lately the WWE writers have given up trying. If TNA could start to directly oppose the WWE for rating maybe that would motivate the writers to find ways to make the lesser stars more interesting like in the Attitude Era when even guys like Scotty 2 Hotty and Val Venus had interesting story lines.
